New Students
New students should fill out the enrollment form. Initial audition/interview is required for new students for $40 fee. The amount will be deducted from the tuition after the student joins the studio. The information provided in the enrollment form will be used for communication and performance events applications. For beginner to intermediate level students it is required to bring a notebook for recording weekly homework assignments. Parental participation at lessons is strongly encouraged for students ages 12 and under. Teacher’s will exercise own professional discretion regarding parental participation at lessons for students ages 12 and above.
All students are required to complete levels 1-6 for theory and technique. The teacher will provide information regarding theory books, scales and technique assignment each week. It is advisable to use published music books. It is recommended to photocopy current repertoire and use the photocopied sheets during the lessons to keep the originals clean. Please include your photocopies in a binder. Punch three holes directly on the sheets, do not use sheet protectors as they reflect light and make reading and marking the music difficult.
